About Two Pooches (Robin Woods) Two Pooches was officially started in 1995 with the goal to help small businesses obtain an affordable Web presence. To achieve this I have developed a time effective design method, reducing many aspects of website development that are not always essential, while still providing a solid and reliable website. Two Pooches will provide the knowledge and experience to help you make informed decisions about services and elements you may or may not need. I share my home with my husband and a menagerie of pets. We truly enjoy the quiet, rural life in the mountains of WNC. I am originally from Santa Barbara, California. Although I cherish my California roots I have come to love the peaceful, leisurely paced life here. This area is abundant in culture and beauty unique to this part of the country. I have 2 wonderful sons and 2 beautiful daughters who are grown with families of their own. (I will occasionally brag about my grandchildren) My husband and I are active Mustang enthusiasts. We are co-founders of NC Stangs, a quickly growing family oriented car club. Basic Faq's Each site is customized to the client’s needs. No cookie cutter sites here. The Internet is always changing and so will your website. There are 1000s of search engines out there with various guidelines, and 100s of different ways to develop a website. I take the fundamentals of what I feel actually works and implement these rules and guidelines into every site I develop. If you request something that may not conform to standard guidelines I will let you know so that you can make informed decisions. All web sites are developed to be user friendly and include basic elements to keep search engines happy. With this strategy clients are able to have a cost effective web presence without elements they may not need. Clients always have the option to have elements added or changed to suit their individual needs. Maintenance Changes are made according to importance and the order requests are received. I encourage you to explore ways to promote your site. Combined efforts have produced successful results. Included with initial development are submissions to top search engines & directories. IMPORTANT: Please do not submit your site. This will cause many search engines to ignore submissions. If you wish to submit to search engines using a service etc. please let me know. Your new site link may come up in search engine results on other sites above your listing. Do not be alarmed. These sites have been on the Internet longer and will show results first. These results can be generated from inbound links. After about 4 months your site will show up in results better. Exchanging text links with other relevant web sites is a great way to get noticed.This helps to improve your "Popularity/Page rank" The more sites your URL (http://yoursite.com) is on, the better results for searches (Popularity). Most sites include a "Promotion" page or "Resources" reciprocal link program. This page provides codes and text for promotion. If you exchange links with another site, simply direct them to your "promotion page". Post ads everywhere you can (review each websites policies). Tip: Use a separate free email account (Yahoo, Gmail etc.for marketing to help with junk email often generated by submissions. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Misc. I will occasionally email info. or tips relevant to the success of your site. This is usually sent to all my clients. Your privacy is important to me so your email will never be shared. I strive to keep all sites unique and do not share sensitive information. Techniques and promotion solutions may be similar on my sites. I will always make recommendations in your best interest. I may or may not profit from recommendations. This in no way influences recommendations. Always be sure and let me know if there is anything I can do to help your business succeed Payments & Fees etc. All development fees are invoiced from PayPal. Please keep records of all agreements and transactions. Your Pay Pal transaction is considered a receipt.(Please retain for your records) Please review your invoice carefully before paying. Payment is expected at time of billing. Monthly fees for maintenance & hosting (if applicable) are subscription plans. Your subscription will automatically renew at the rates stated each billing period. I am not a bill collector. Please let me know If you need an extension.
